After discussing my situation with management, they asked me to send the necklace back for a reevaluation. To my delight, I received a brand new replacement necklace! I chose to give this store a try after seeing their advertisements on radio and television, but I won’t be doing so again.
I ordered a sterling silver bracelet with blue topaz gems for my girlfriend’s birthday. According to their website, orders over $100 ship for free and should arrive within 3-5 days. After waiting a week, the bracelet still hadn’t shipped, and the order status remained unchanged. I called their 1-800 number, which sent me straight to voicemail. I messaged them and received the standard response: they apologized for the delay and promised to ship it out that day or the next. However, three days passed with no updates.
I emailed them again, explaining that I had spent $100 plus an additional $10 for the “premium gift box and note” and that the order should have been on its way. They repeated their apologies and upgraded the shipping to 2-day delivery, but only after I threatened to cancel the order.
When the $100 bracelet finally arrived, it came in a box that looked like it was from a dollar store, accompanied by a note resembling a printed Word document in Old English font. The only positive aspect was that my girlfriend liked the bracelet. I discarded the $10 note and created my own.
