I recently received my engagement ring from Brian Gavin, and I must say, the quality and craftsmanship of the ring are stunning. I found myself admiring it constantly. As a repeat customer, my trust in BGD remains strong. However, Im giving a 4-star rating due to some communication hiccups.
Initially, I was informed that the ring would be crafted within three weeks, followed by shipping. Unfortunately, the CAD (Computer-Aided Design) process took over two weeks to reach my email, despite my prompt response. A week or two later, I reached out for an update, and my first email was seemingly ignored. When I inquired again, I was informed quite bluntly that an additional two weeks were needed for the rings completion. After two more weeks, I found myself needing to email once more for yet another update.
While I understand that the timeline extension wasnt a major issue for me, I had hoped for more prompt and proactive responses. This would have allowed me to remain informed about the progress. Additionally, my disappointment came from the limited availability of diamonds in the Black range for cushion shapes. Out of the entire inventory, there was only one diamond that met my criteria, forcing me to settle for a diamond from the Select range.
Despite these minor grievances, the BGD Select cushion diamond I chose is still exquisitely beautiful. Considering these aspects, I would certainly consider making another purchase from BGD in the future.
