    My experience with Zales Jewelry has been highly frustrating and disappointing. I ordered a ring online at an advertised price of $209, but it was added to my cart at $289. I called their sales team to confirm the pricing and was promised a $50 discount instead of the $70 discrepancy.

    To make matters worse, I received the wrong size – a size 7 instead of the size 8 I had ordered. Despite their claims, they couldnt ship to my PO Box as promised. The tracking status showed the item stuck at UPS with unclear instructions for returning it.

    My attempts to resolve this issue with their customer service were aggravating. After multiple calls, explanations, and promises of a supervisor callback, I was left waiting for a response that never came. It turns out the item was recalled, but I was left in the dark until I contacted them yet again.

    Zales has wasted my time, provided poor service, and failed to deliver what they promised. I advise others to avoid frustration and steer clear of Zales.

    I purchased a ring from Zales as a gift for my daughters sixteenth birthday. Unfortunately, the expected delivery date was after her birthday, prompting me to inquire about their cancellation policy. Initially, I was informed that I could cancel before the item shipped. However, when I attempted to cancel the next day while the item was still not shipped, I was informed that the cancellation needed approval and wasnt guaranteed. This contradicted what I had been told previously. Despite raising this issue, I received a hollow apology and a reference to their return policy. The customer service experience was disappointing, and I am unlikely to consider Zales in the future.

However, my hopes were dashed when, after three days, my order was unexpectedly canceled due to alleged stock issues. Surprisingly, the items still appeared as available for purchase on their website.

    In search of clarity, I communicated via email, seeking confirmation on whether the products were genuinely out of stock or if there was a payment glitch. Their response was less than conclusive, suggesting that I contact customer service by phone. Attempting to give them another chance, I placed a new order with just one item using the same payment details. To my dismay, this order too was canceled, this time citing payment information as the problem. I decided to call their customer service to get some definitive answers on the cancellations and stock availability.

    However, my call only yielded more frustration, as the customer service representative couldnt provide concrete reasons or stock status. They encouraged me to try a different payment method and informed me that the 30% discount, which had originally motivated my purchase, was no longer applicable due to the timing. Disheartened by the run-around and the worsening prices, I declined their offer and ended the pursuit. The phone calls themselves incurred an additional cost.

    The inability of Zales to confirm stock availability is baffling and time-consuming. Unlike other sites, they lack transparency in this crucial aspect. While the customer service team remained friendly, their assistance lacked the practical impact that matters most. This issue ultimately rests with the companys policies and practices rather than the customer service representatives.

    They change delivery date 24 hours after purchase.
    Then they will not accept cancellation even though item is on a 3 week back order
    They claim 60 minutes after purchase.
    So, they dont care if you get the engagement ring or not.
    Terrible, terrible customer service!

    I DO NOT recommend ordering from them! My entire purchasing process was an absolute nightmare!! Their website was “messed up” and kept showing FREE shipping all the way up until it actually charged my card! Like on the order page it still displayed FREE SHIPPING and had 0.00 as shipping total. I contacted CS who informed me that that was incorrect and basically too bad so sad. They charge your card but don’t place a hold on the amount until the item ships which again THEY DO NOT TELL YOU causing the money to go back into my account but also causing my checkings and savings accounts to get messed up! I have a very strict savings schedule and account for every dollar. I will NEVER EVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN!

    I got a sapphire bridal set for my fiance as her engagement ring and wedding band. In less than 4 months its been in for repairs FIVE times because the band broke and stones fall out CONSTANTLY. We were given all the excuses, dont wear it to work, desk jobs are the hardest on rings, dont wear it to bed, dont wear it in the shower, etc. So when CAN she wear it?! Wedding rings are made to be worn! After weeks of screwing around with corporate customer service, I finally hear back from someone saying theyll replace it with a “more durable” ring made of gold because silver “doesnt hold up” (what?!?!) So we go to the Appleton, WI store and spoke with the manager, Kayla, who was VERY nice and said theyd figure something out but she has to speak with corporate and they were closed already. I get a call the next day and theyre giving me back what i paid for my ring, but offering me a whopping 25% off a new ring AND I have to buy ANOTHER protection plan! I know the markup on jewelry and Ill be DAMNED if Im giving them any more of my money knowing theyre jewelry is this unstable! I got the ring because I cant afford anything super fancy right now and this is the style she wanted, but to get something similar made of white gold it would be an ADDITIONAL $625 AFTER my supposed “savings”! HELL NO! Im going to make sure EVERYONE knows about this, including all of my social media following. They did NOT make this right, especially considering theyve had the ring for repairs more than my poor future wife has been able to wear it! DONT BUY THEIR JEWELRY AND DONT BUY FROM ZALES!
