    I recently purchased 4 items using the Smart Pay option. However, as I used my debit card instead of a traditional credit card, Ive encountered an issue where Im being charged twice for each item each month. Initially, both payments are deducted, but then the additional charge is eventually reversed. This essentially amounts to double billing, and its causing my funds to be tied up on my debit card for an extended period, sometimes up to 7 or 8 days. Its a frustrating situation, and it seems Ross Simons needs to revamp their system.

    Ive reached out to their customer service team, and theyve explained that this is how their credit card system operates. This is quite different from my experiences with other online retailers, where installment payments with a credit card work seamlessly. This double billing feels unfair and inconvenient, and it raises concerns about its legality. Ross Simons should seriously consider addressing this issue to improve the customer experience.

    I ordered medium-sized stud earrings from Ross-Simons Jewelry. However, I received them with small-sized backs, causing the earrings to appear lopsided. To correct this, I ordered larger backs, which cost almost as much as the earrings themselves with smaller backs. Unfortunately, the replacements arrived poorly made, with misplaced post holes that even damaged one of my original earrings.

    Upon contacting Ross-Simons for assistance, I found myself spending hours explaining the issue, repacking items, and returning them to the post office due to incorrect guidance from the company. Replacements were sent after a delay and still had the same problem – mismatched earring posts and backs.

    I attempted to communicate via their website but received no response. A call was necessary, and again, I had to reiterate the problems multiple times. The situation left me feeling my concerns were trivialized. Eventually, I was promised a 12.5% credit, but no explanation was provided for the mistakes.

    After the promised credit didnt materialize, I called once more, facing the same repetition of explanations. Quality control was admitted to be subpar due to time constraints. Despite this, the company offered an additional 10% discount, albeit on a “final sale” basis, which I declined due to previous issues.

    This experience has led me to question the reliability of Ross-Simons Jewelry and its products. The lack of accountability for their errors and dismissive attitude toward customer concerns has left me disheartened and disappointed in their services.

    I bought a necklace as a gift, but unfortunately, the recipient didnt prefer the style. There were other styles on Nile Ross Simons website that they liked. We hoped to return the brand-new, boxed necklace for store credit toward another purchase. However, customer service refused this option. Its disappointing since I wanted to continue supporting the store, but now I have to explore alternatives like selling it at a pawn shop.

    I have found my experience with Ross Simons Jewelry to be quite disappointing. Their so-called “gold plated over silver” items are certainly not what they claim to be. As a chemist, I am well aware that copper oxide is red. Despite purchasing several such items from R-S, they quickly lose their gold color and turn red within a year. This transformation to the color of cuprous oxide, the +1 oxidation state of copper, raises concerns about the quality of their “gold” plated jewelry. Im perplexed by the positive reputation that R-S enjoys, given this discrepancy in the quality of their products.

    I had a frustrating experience with Ross-Simons. I purchased and returned two rings through US mail, sending them together. However, they only acknowledged receiving one. I requested them to track the provided tracking numbers for each return, but suddenly they couldnt assist with that. As a result, Im left paying for an item I no longer possess. This ordeal highlighted their incompetence, poor customer service, and lack of communication across departments.

    Over the past two and a half years, Ive made around 10 purchases from Ross-Simons. Their collection of less expensive yet appealing jewelry caught my attention, particularly their sterling silver pieces. While affordability is a positive aspect, Ive unfortunately encountered some issues with the durability of their items.

    Out of the items Ive acquired, three bracelets and one ring have experienced stone loss, which is quite concerning considering this occurred within a relatively short time frame of two years. Additionally, Ive had two bracelets break during the same period. These experiences have left me disappointed, as I had expected better longevity from the jewelry.

    One positive aspect I appreciate about Ross-Simons is its wide range of jewelry options, offering a variety that appeals to different tastes. However, when it comes to quality and sturdiness, Ive found alternatives on platforms like eBay and Etsy. These alternatives, whether vintage pieces or directly sourced from artisans in India, not only come at a more affordable price point but also demonstrate better craftsmanship and durability.

    Ultimately, my experiences with Ross-Simons have made me rethink my purchasing decisions. While they offer a broad selection, the recurring issues with stone loss and breakage have led me to explore other avenues to find jewelry that offers both style and durability without straining my budget.

    Birthday of my wife was coming up A few weeks ago she showed me a ad from Ross & Simons, so I went online. Placing an order online was easy and quick. As it was her birthday I had it marked as a gift with a personal msg. Received a confirmation and tracking. It arrived 2 days before her birthday but not wrapped as a gift and no personal message. That is the reason why I gave a 4 out of a 5

    I have made numerous purchases from Ross and have never been disappointed. Items have all been well priced, shipping is fabulous and the quality is lovely. I have purchased necklaces, earrings, bracelets, some with semi precious stones, and some with diamonds. Needless to say, I will be back.

    I appreciated the emails tracking my order.
    It was a piece of jewelry and delivered in my mailbox which is at the end of my driveway. My neighborhood is safe.. but you dont want packages sitting in the mailbox!! Thanks. The ring is very pretty.
