    I had a horrible experience with Kay Jewelry. I took my grandmothers ring there for repair, specifically to have a diamond replaced and the tips holding other diamonds reinforced. After just three wears, the same diamond fell out again. To my dismay, they refused to guarantee their work and suggested I needed to reinforce the tips once more, which was the initial service I paid for. The Holmdel, NJ store was where this disappointing encounter took place. I strongly advise against trusting them, as they dont stand behind their work, and the customer service was incredibly rude.

    I unexpectedly received an engagement ring and wedding ring set from this brand, despite never making an order. After researching, it seems like scammers are using stolen information to generate fake orders and send low-quality items to create false reviews. These rings, which were not requested, appear cheap and are much larger than needed. Its disappointing to encounter such tactics.

Now, Im torn between keeping the band with emotional value or seeking alternatives elsewhere. The conduct of Brandon, the manager, has been rude and unprofessional, and Lisa Tate, the regional manager, appears disorganized. I strongly recommend considering other options before making a purchase.

This being our first time shopping there, we sought to return them for store credit. Unfortunately, we missed the 90-day exchange deadline by just three days. Despite our situation, they declined to offer store credit. In contrast, retailers like Costco and Sams Club provide better prices, higher quality, and more lenient return policies. This encounter with Kay will be our last.

    My experience with Kay Jewelry has been nothing short of disappointing, to the extent that I would willingly assign a zero-star rating if it were possible. Over a decade, my relationship with Kay had been ongoing, and recently, I decided to make significant upgrades to my wedding ring set and also acquired an all-diamond bracelet. Unfortunately, this endeavor quickly turned into a series of frustrations.

    Both the bracelet and rings required resizing, a seemingly straightforward process. However, the outcome was far from satisfactory. Upon receiving the bracelet and band, I was dismayed to discover that not only was the bracelet improperly reassembled after link removal, but the main ring was missing. The reason provided was both perplexing and alarming – the jeweler had purportedly “broken it beyond repair” during the resizing process, necessitating its shipment to a higher-skilled professional for correction.

    The ordeal stretched on for over 30 days, during which none of the three items were in my possession. The setbacks were attributed to recurrent issues on Kays end, casting doubt on their professionalism and competence. The situation escalated when I learned that the manager failed to inspect the returned jewelry before notifying me of its readiness. This lapse in quality control further underscored the inadequacy of the service.

    A glimmer of hope arose when the manager assured me that the pieces were being entrusted to a more experienced jeweler for proper resolution. However, the damage was done, and my experience with Kay Jewelry has been nothing short of unacceptable and absurd. The lack of accountability, coupled with the prolonged delays and careless oversight, has deeply tarnished the once-promising relationship I had with this jewelry retailer.

    Fake diamond fell out after 5 days. 7 weeks later it was returned with replacement stone… unsized. I ordered a ring protector from WISH. When it was “sized” directly below the side diamond is stamped 14k!
    Company has argued with me ever since. This ring needs an entire new shank. They get your money and walk away. They can careless about the products and customer service. Avoid this company and all sister stores. Ive asked for a C.E.O many times. Only to be ignored. Bravo to Virginia Dosos for being proud to run a company and not care.

    I have been using Kay Jewelers since 2010 started in Gadsden mall Im not going to lie I did have a bad experience so left them alone. Well a new one opened up close to my house. I was out shopping one day so I decided to stop in and check them out. Ive had nothing but awesome service ever since. Ive been using them since around 2012. I have nothing but awesome things to say about the girls that work there and even though its changed hands and management, everybody that Ive ever dealt with has been awesome. Very helpful. They always check my jewelry thoroughly Take their time and make sure to check every single stone. Its about 4 hrs for my inspections to be done (theres a lot of pieces) and they you never complain. We are always talking joking laughing. Theyre just as sweet as ladies ever

    I will never buy anything from kay jewelers again! I will tell ever person I know not to go there either! I had a engagement ring and the diamonds kept falling out they let me exchange it after I make a fuss, the lady ensured me this one would not loss diamonds .well it did 2 of them I went in and they said I havent been in here the last 6 months so u can pay to fix it .I said no I wont spend another dime here .For how much I paid for this ring it should not loss diamonds! theres so much to this story but there customer service sucks too.DO NOT GIVE THEM UR BUSINESS! GO ELSEWHERE!
