Ive placed three orders with Lane Woods Jewelry, each time attempting to get a ring in a specific size. Unfortunately, all three times, the rings were the wrong size. The descriptions on their website can be misleading. They suggest returning the item, which has proven to be quite challenging. Ive asked for a pick-up service for the incorrectly sized ring, but please be cautious when ordering, as returning items with this company can be complicated, and they often recommend reordering, which I reluctantly did.

Even after a year, both the stone and metal look as perfect as when I received them. Delivery did take some time, but that was manageable.

I strongly advise against choosing Lane Woods for your jewelry needs, as their products exhibit poor quality. I purchased a heart-shaped ring, which unfortunately triggered an allergic reaction, causing my finger to turn black. Despite returning the item and receiving a replacement, the issue persisted. Subsequent returns and shipping payments were required. Its concerning that their materials are unsuitable even for basic wear. The lack of stainless steel alternatives is puzzling. Additionally, my refund is overdue for two months, and Zoe from customer service is unresponsive to my emails. This companys practices appear questionable, and I hope their actions are reported to prevent further negative experiences.

A review I came across mentioned a practice of using stock photos and sending rings that closely resemble, but ultimately differ from the original order. This description perfectly encapsulated my experience as well. Despite paying a significant amount, over $100, what I received could be categorized as nothing more than a piece of low-quality costume jewelry, likely worth no more than $15 if sold in the US. They claimed it was moissanite, but verifying such claims is an ordeal in itself.
Unsatisfied with the purchase, I decided to follow their return policy. After confirming receipt of the returned item and agreeing to a refund, the actual refund never materialized. To my surprise, their immediate response when questioned about the missing refund was to advise me to contact my credit card company for resolution. The intricacies of credit card disputes raise questions about whether vendors truly reimburse the funds, leaving credit card companies to bear the cost for their customers. This system may suit vendors like Lanewoods, enabling them to evade refunds even when a returned item is received.
My strong recommendation is to steer clear of Lanewoods. Positive reviews may either stem from customers content with accepting subpar quality at a high cost, or perhaps they are influenced by internal sources. Throughout the purchasing process, I received frequent updates that seemed more fitting for a high-end product, while the reality of the received item was far from satisfactory.
Coincidentally, I found a much better alternative at Macys, where I acquired a costume jewelry ring. To my surprise, the quality was vastly superior to what Lanewoods provided, and at only a fraction of the cost. Lanewoods claims of delivering quality fall short of reality, as my experience illustrates. Despite their impressive advertising efforts, the actual product quality and customer service do not align.

I checked the reviews too late. I ordered a ring and later read someone said they use stock photos and send you a ring that is similar, but not exactly like what you ordered. That is exactly correct. I paid over $100 for a cheap piece of costume jewelry that in America probably would’ve sold for $15. They said it was moissanite. How would I ever know if that’s true or not? At any rate, I was not satisfied, so I followed the return policy. They admitted that they received my return and they agreed to refund. However, they never sent my refund. Their immediate response when I asked about this was “call your credit card company and deal with them.” I’m not sure how it works when credit card companies have disputes with vendors, but I’m wondering if they never really get that money back from the vendor and they just credit the customer being a very good service for their credit card customer. I’m sure Lane Woods is very happy about this because then they get away with not returning the person’s money, even if the person returned the item. Please do not buy from Lane Woods. I think the good reviews you see are either from people that are willing to accept junk for a lot of money or it’s from people that work for Lane Woods. At a certain point when I was waiting for my ring, I knew it was going to be a bad situation because almost every other day, they would send me an update acting like I ordered a $10,000 ring saying “stone is being cut” then two days later, “it is being placed in the setting”, etc. etc. 🙄. Just as an aside, I ended up buying a costume jewelry ring at Macy’s. It was 10 times nicer than what Lane Woods sent me at 1/5 of the price of what Lane Woods charged. Lane Woods sends cheap junk and doesn’t follow through with pleasing the customer despite all their showy advertising.

This company is a fraud. They claim to have hassle-free returns, but when I returned the product according to their guidelines, they never refunded me and ignored all of my emails asking them to. I provided a receipt of return and tracking number and it has now been over 3 months and still have not gotten any response. I have reported the charge with my credit card company.

I do not recommend Lane Woods and their products are poor quality. I ordered a heart shaped ring and I had an allergic reaction to it. It turned my finger black. I paid for shipping to have it returned and they sent a new ring and still the same problem. I sent it back and paid for shipping again. What materials are they using to make the ring if I cant even wear it. They cant even use stainless steel? It has been 2 months and I have not received my refund. Zoe in customer service does not respond to my emails. This company is a scam. I hope someone reports them! I live in Canada.
