The resizing process took nearly three weeks. Upon receiving it, I noticed that two of the four prongs were extremely loose, causing inconvenience and worry. Despite this being a clear error by their jeweler, Brilliant Earth refuses to guarantee warranty coverage for the issue. To compound matters, they estimate a 4-week wait to fix it.
Adding to the frustration, seeking local repair would void the warranty. While the ring itself is exquisite, dealing with post-purchase issues feels like a hassle. Its essential to hope for a trouble-free experience, as any complications seem to become the customers burden, rather than the companys responsibility.

These cancellations resulted in around $90 in international transfer fees. Contacting their customer service was frustratingly slow, with days passing before receiving responses, especially concerning the refund process. Based on their customer service and internal policies, I cannot recommend Brilliant Earth to others.

I purchased 4 unity bracelets from Brilliant Earth for my future sisters and mother-in-law. Although I received confirmation emails with delivery dates, I was dismayed to learn a day before I departed for my Jamaica wedding that while one bracelet had shipped, the others were out of stock, necessitating replacements.
The unity bracelets are significant as theyre meant to be identical. Faced with this situation, I opted for a refund. However, I was told to wait 48 hours for someone to contact me to initiate the return process, even though they lacked the product I had ordered. Given my impending travel, I had no choice but to raise a dispute with my credit card company.
This experience has eroded my trust in Brilliant Earth. The lack of transparency and unsatisfactory customer service has left me hesitant about making future purchases from them. Im currently awaiting my refund resolution.

Upon its return, however, a rather disheartening issue emerged. The once-elegant band now showcased three diamonds with distinct darkness and subpar quality. This dissonance was puzzling, especially since the central diamond boasted superior quality. My anticipation of consistency in diamond quality across the band was sadly misplaced.
Venturing into dialogue with five different representatives at Brilliant Earth to address our concern, we decided to send the ring back for repair. A month later, the ring was returned to us once more, but the issue persisted. Two diamonds in the band remained dark, casting a shadow over the overall appeal. Frustration grew as it seemed impossible to speak to the same person at Brilliant Earth twice, which only added to the mounting disappointment.
The situation is particularly disheartening considering the substantial investment – upwards of ten thousand dollars – made for an engagement ring that was expected to exude a certain level of quality. Unfortunately, the reality fell short. The service provided by Brilliant Earth left much to be desired, with an absence of genuine concern or eagerness to rectify the situation. Its unfortunate to acknowledge that despite the initial optimism, the ring doesnt meet expectations and requires further attention.
In light of the ongoing issue, weve decided against sending the ring back for another repair attempt. Instead, the logical step involves turning to a local jeweler who can hopefully address the concerns and replace the subpar diamonds properly. The journey that began with excitement and hope has morphed into a process marred by disappointment and the need to seek external assistance to remedy the situation.

My fiancé purchased a ring with a diamond in January. I wore the ring for 4 months before the diamond fell out. After mailing it in for inspection, the determined that it occurred from natural wear and tear. After four months. The head of the repair department instructed me to buy a diamond of the same carat size then call the customer service line to provide the stock number of the new diamond I purchased.
After 5 days, I was informed that after purchasing the new diamond, the stock number was never sent to the repair department. This information was provided to me via email to which I responded immediately. After waiting 24 hours, I never received a response. I then called their customer service line where I was informed that they diamond was on hold for failing to pay a $5 tax that I was never informed that I needed to pay, nor that I had failed to make that payment. I was in then informed that the diamond purchased was too big for the setting and I would be required to pay for the setting to be enlarged to fit the setting. Despite them failing to inform me that the diamond needed to remain within certain dimensions.
When I declined to accept this offer, the informed me that my second option would be to allow a “diamond specialist” to come in and hand select a diamond that would fit the dimensions of the ring, with the same clarity and color as the diamond I chose; however, I would be required to pay the difference in price. He told me this option would take a minimum of 1 week for diamond selection with a maximum of 4 weeks to find the diamond. And another 4 weeks to place it into the ring. After declining this offer and demanding a refund and for my setting to be sent back, the man I was speaking to told me to “not be irrational” and think this through. I said without a discount or a quicker timeline I would be taking my business elsewhere. I then sat on hold for 15 minutes while he filled out “refund” paperwork. After which he told me my money would be returned at an unknown date and my setting would be returned at an unknown date.

Product needed to be returned for resizing, but the return shipping labels provided and the process in general did not work at all despite numerous attempts. Had to resize the product locally instead which was not refunded by the company. Poor experience all round. In future just buy from a good local company instead! Avoid this company and save yourself the stress.
